At just 12 years old, Adam Ismail is already making waves in the football world, having been scouted by three professional clubs — Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, and Norwich City — after an impressive showing at UK Football Trials. 

A talented central attacking midfielder, Adam’s journey in football began at a young age. He first played for Bloomsbury FC, where his potential quickly became clear. One of his earliest achievements came in 2019, when he helped his team win the Camden Under-8 Tournament — a sign of the things to come. 

“I started with Bloomsbury FC,” Adam recalled. “We won the Camden tournament and that gave me real confidence to keep pushing forward.” 

By 2022, Adam’s talent had taken him into the elite football environment, where he spent eight weeks on trial with Chelsea’s academy — a rare opportunity that helped sharpen his skills and expose him to the intensity of academy football. 

More recently, he continued his development with Neuro Pathway FC, where he played a key role in helping the team win the Echo League — one of London’s most competitive youth leagues. 

When Adam arrived at his UK Football Trial, he brought with him both experience and ambition. He knew it would be a challenge — but he was ready to step up and show scouts exactly what he could do. 

“I just wanted to prove myself to the professionals,” Adam said. “I knew the scouts would be watching and that this was a big chance.” 

And he did just that. Following the trial, Adam was scouted by Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Norwich City. So far, he’s received emails from both the Tottenham and Norwich scouts, with contact from West Ham still pending. 

“I’ve heard from Tottenham and Norwich already,” Adam said. “I’m still waiting to hear from West Ham — hopefully that will come soon!” 

Adam described the trial experience as intense and competitive, but one that helped him grow. 

“The best part was the competition with other players,” he said. “It pushes you to do more. It gave me confidence and made me work harder.” 

The level of professionalism and the environment at UK Football Trials also left a big impression. 

“It was a great experience — 100% I’d recommend it,” Adam added. “You get to test yourself and show what you’re made of.” 

Although he’s still awaiting trial dates and feedback from the clubs, Adam remains focused and motivated for the next steps, but in the meantime, he’s continuing to train hard and stay ready. 

“What happens next is still being worked out,” he said. “But I know what I want — and I’m going to keep pushing until I get there.” 

With a strong football background, multiple academy scouts showing interest, and a determined mindset, Adam Ismail is a name to watch.
