Maclean Simpson - Aged 17 - Trial With Woking
Simpson, originally for Australia, moved over to the UK earlier this year in the hope of finding a club in England after finding his opportunities limited at home. He attended trials in Manchester, Birmingham and Scotland before finally getting spotted at his final trial of the Summer in Plymouth.
During the Plymouth trial, Simpson scored a first-half hat-trick for his side. At half-time the coach swapped him on to the other team where he scored a further 2 goals. The coach said: "The momentum of the game completely swung when he swapped teams. Any player who can have that affect on a game is worth a look at."
