Lewis, who plays as a central midfielder or central defender, has received interest from two professional clubs following impressive performances at our trials in October. The Academy Recruitment Manager for Burnley has already been to watch him play and Blackpool have also registered an interest.

Lewis is more than comfortable playing in the spotlight, having spent five years at Liverpool FC from 2007 - 20012, before trialing with Blackburn Rovers and more recently singing a one-year-contract with Tranmere, where he left earlier this year.

A strong defensive midfielder, Lewis is equally strong playing in defence and has been praised for his composure on the ball. "He doesn't get flustered," said his Dad, "Because he's played in midfield, he can knock it around the back and play those passes."

Having attended three UK Football Trials this year alone, Lewis has received interest from other clubs such as Stoke and Barnsley, and is definitely one to watch out for. Speaking about his trial, Lewis said: "It's an amazing trial, dead constructive and I learnt a lot from it. You can get an opportunity at a pro club."
