Liam McMenamy - Aged 15 - Trial with Farnborough Town
Liam, an Arsenal fan, currently plays for Staines Town u16’s and has been there his whole life. He won the Golden Boot last season and his pace up front has led to him being nicknamed “speedy” by his teammates.
Liam got the call from Farnborough almost straight after his UK Football Trial and went in for two days training with Farnborough. Speaking about his trial with Farnborough, he said: "We trained on the Thursday and on Friday it was more of a training match against each other - now I'm just waiting to hear back".
"I really liked my trial experience with UK Football Trials – the coaches were great with and it was good to be watched by professional scouts, you don’t get an opportunity like that everyday and it's a great platform."
