Woking Football club were keen to bring 17-year-old centre forward Roly Mampasi in for a trial after seeing the youngster play at our event in West London on February 21st.

Roly has previously played for professional League Two side Stevenage Football Club and chose to attend our event in hopes of once again playing high level football. When talking to him about how he discovered our company he explained: “My mum heard about UK Football Trials and suggested it. I’d seen it on Instagram but didn’t know much about it.”

Roly impressed over the three hours at our trial and Woking requested his details. Roly told us “I got an email from Woking asking me to come for a trial.

“It went alright, it mainly involved drills to test our passing and shooting. We did one on one’s against defenders and things like that. The facilities were okay but the coaching was really good. I was there for around 2 hours all together.”

Roly hopes to continue at Woking and is eager to hear from them. He told us: “Woking didn’t specify when but they said that they will be in contact via email to let me know if they want me to come back and continue training with them.”

Everyone at UK Football Trials hopes Roly hears back from Woking soon and that he can continue to train with them and progress his footballing career
