After attending one of our events back in February, 14-year-old goalkeeper Toby Fisher was scouted by Watford and Wolves.

We previously reported on Toby’s trial with Watford and recently caught up with him at our West London event in April to see what he is currently up to. Toby told us: “Both trials went really well, unfortunately the Watford one didn’t turn out. But I am doing stuff with Wolves the summer.”

With his trial with Watford Toby explained: “I went there for the Watford one, got into kit, had a warm up with the academy goalie coach and then went into a game.”

“When I was put in with the goalie for the warm up, it was simple hand and feet just getting them warmed up before the game.” He added.

Toby also told us details of the match he played, explaining: “In the game we played a coaching academy that were very good and were an older age group. We did win and it went very well.”

When asked why Toby chose to come back to our event he told us: “The first time round it was really good, the sessions were good. The end goal was to be scouted and that’s what happened and hopefully that can happen again today.”
