Kristian Preknicaj - Aged 17 - Trial for Welling United
Welling United scouted 17-year-old Italian centre forward Kristian Preknicaj from our West London event back in August.
Upon receiving the news from UK Football Trials, Welling contacted Kristian and invited him in for a match with the under 19’s in which he played very well.
After assessing Kristian, Welling decided to move him up to the first team to feature in a match!
UK Football Trials Operations Director Tom Rudd said: “I was delighted to hear that Kristian performed equally as well for Welling as he did at our trial.”
“It’s great that lads are able to come here to the UK to our events and go on to feature in first team matches for some really great clubs.”
