Altrincham scouted 17-year-old left forward Jayden Quay from our Manchester event back in December.

Speaking with Jayden about his football history, he explained: “Right now I’m playing for Radcliffe F.C in the Northern Premier League.”

“I actually moved to England last year from the Netherlands. I’ve played football for around nine years but not at a very high level.”

With Jayden already playing in The Northern Premier League, we were curious as to why he chose to attend our events, he explained: “I attended your event as although I already play quite a high level, I believe I can push even further.”

“You guys have a lot of scouts at your trials and it paid off for me as Altrincham are two leagues above my current team so it’s a great opportunity for me.”

As well as Altrincham, Jayden was also scouted by Stalybridge and invited to trial for the club. He told us: “Stalybridge offered me a place in their squad after I trialled with them but as they are I the same league as I am currently playing, I opted to turn it down and focus on my trial with Altrincham.”

Speaking on his trial with Altrincham, Jayden told us: “I was impressed with the training, they work a lot on fitness and go through drills that I haven’t experienced before. That is down to the high standard of the club.”

“There hasn’t been a decision made just yet on whether they will sign me. They have told me that they are impressed with how I have been playing and they would like me to continue training with them.”

“I am going to play in a match for them and then we will go from there.”
