We are delighted to hear an update from late 2019 that Miguel Valsau, an 18 year old centre medfield player has signed for Guiseley AFC and is now breaking into the first team.

First scouted by Dave Currie, Head of Academy and Youth Team Manager at the club, Miguel has gone from strength to strength. A fantastic football club for development and pathways, Guiseley AFC have a tremendous track record of bringing through players and Dave has been attending our events for 6 years, helping a number of players along the way and guiding them through their footballing journeys. 

Miguel at just 18 years old, originally from Portugal has impressed in the academy ranks and had a couple of first team call ups recently.

"I am really enjoying myself at club and had a great experience recently playing against Sheffield Utd's U23 team a few weeks ago whihc was a real challenge and eye opener! The training here and the staff are great and I am just in college at the moment enjoying playing as much as possible."
