Well done Teyo on securing a trial at Blackburn Rovers 

Teyo first started playing in North East Leeds in Sunday league. During his time at the club he trained with various clubs.  At the start of the 22/23 season, he moved to Collingham Juniors for Sunday league and this is the team he currently plays for.  Teyo played in the U12 Small Schools National cup final at the Hawthorns. 

When asked why he felt he wasn’t getting opportunities and decided to attend UK Football Trials Teyo said “I believe I wasn’t getting an opportunity as scouts were never at any of my games, so I never had the opportunity to showcase my skills which is why I decided to attend a trial” 

Describing his experience on trial Teyo said “My club training is very good and challenging, I am really enjoying it, the level of the players and coaching is amazing and the standards that I am given only help me to better my game” 

When asked how the experience has changed his mindset Teyo added “The experience has definitely changed my mindset as it made me even more determined to improve myself as a player and develop my skills to the levels required of top professionals.” 

We asked Teyo what advice he would give other players and his message was “Some advice I would give to other players is to attend the trials as there are a wide range of clubs watching and there are many opportunities could come from attending the trials”
