Congratulations to 17-year-old Leo Alkan on securing a trial for Shrewsbury Town 

Leo Alkan's performance at the Midlands event was truly impressive. During one of the games, he executed a remarkable run, showcasing exceptional skill and awareness. Throughout the day, he consistently demonstrated a wide array of outstanding attacking attributes. Additionally, here are some comments he made when we asked him about his experience. 

When asked why Leo thinks he was getting opportunities he told us "The reason I think I wasn’t getting an opportunity to be scouted is because there weren't any scouts coming to my teams games or training so that's when I decided to book UK Football Trials as I know they have many scouts that watch during the sessions they give you." 

We asked Leo what advice he would give to other players and his response was "My advice for other players that have talent and aren’t getting the opportunity to be scouted is to book UK football trials as it gives you a huge opportunity to showcase your ability to multiple scouts and they also give you feedback on your session so even if you don’t get scouted you can take the feedback they gave you and work on it then come back and you will have a really good chance of being scouted for a professional club."
