Congratulations to Bobby on securing multiple opportunities with different clubs since attending our Manchester event.

Bobby has only been playing since 2 weeks before his 7th birthday so hasn't been playing long but has managed to play at different clubs.

When asked why they attended UK Football Trials Bobby's parents said "The grass roots team he was playing for wasn't high level so no scouts ever attended the matches, so we decided to bring him to UK Football Trials as a way for him to be seen. The event itself was brilliant, well organised and had a variety of different drills to showcase his skills."

When asked if the experience has changed their mindset or training they added "Since attending the event as parents we have found some quality training to do for him to aid his development"

We asked how they found the club training/trial and Bobby's parents said "Bobby found the club trial at Burnley to be a real eye opener. He played in 2 games for them and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, unfortunately it wasn't to be as Bobby had a chest infection but he has since gone on to gain other opportunities from this.

Bobby was noticed by Accrington Stanley and taken in to their development squad, and also trains at Crewe Alexandra development squad. On January 10th Bobby will be starting a player development programme for Liverpool FC.

When we asked Bobby and his family for any advice they would give, their response was "My advice for any parent that feels their child deserves a chance to be seen is to book on to a UK Football Trials event.  This was our 3rd trial event, the other 2 were different companies and UK Football Trials was by far the most organised, the coaches were fantastic and made him feel at ease."
