Kyle’s passion for football began at a young age, and his dedication to developing his skills has been evident from the start. Playing for Ebbsfleet United, he has become a key player in his team, constantly improving and pushing himself to reach new heights. Representing West Kent District has further honed his abilities, giving him the platform to test himself against strong competition and develop his leadership on the pitch as an attacking midfielder. 

The next big step for Kyle came when he attended a UK Football Trials event, where he had the opportunity to showcase his talents in front of scouts from various professional clubs. His performance at the trials didn’t go unnoticed. “I was contacted by Ipswich, Chelsea, and QPR,” Kyle said, recalling the excitement of being scouted by such prestigious clubs. Both Chelsea and QPR have since expressed interest in coming to watch Kyle play for Ebbsfleet United, a sign of just how much potential they see in him. 

Reflecting on his experience at the trials, Kyle explained that one of the key things he learned was the importance of being adaptable on the pitch. “I learned to be flexible and to be available to try different positions when asked,” he said. As a central attacking midfielder, being versatile and able to contribute in various roles is crucial, and Kyle is already showing that he has the right attitude and mindset to succeed at a high level. 

The trials provided Kyle with a unique experience of playing alongside a mixture of players with varying abilities. “There was a mixture of different abilities,” Kyle shared, acknowledging the wide range of talent that was on display. Despite the differences in skill levels, Kyle embraced the opportunity to learn from his peers and further improve his game. 

The decision to attend UK Football Trials was sparked by a suggestion from his father. “My Dad saw it advertised online and thought it would be a really good opportunity,” Kyle explained. The trials have proven to be just that, opening doors to new possibilities and putting Kyle on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in the country. 

When asked if he would recommend UK Football Trials to other young players, Kyle’s response was enthusiastic. “I would recommend it as it’s a good opportunity for a high-intensity session whilst being watched by lots of scouts,” he said. The chance to play in front of multiple scouts from top clubs is invaluable for any aspiring footballer, and Kyle’s story is a testament to the opportunities that UK Football Trials can offer. 

For now, Kyle’s focus is on continuing to perform well for Ebbsfleet United while awaiting further developments from Chelsea and QPR, both of whom are set to watch him in upcoming matches. “Chelsea and QPR are going to come and watch me play for Ebbsfleet United,” Kyle said, clearly excited about the prospect of showcasing his talent in front of these top-tier clubs.
