The trials marked a significant turning point for Karol. Competing among a high calibre of players, he impressed with his speed, agility, and technical ability on both wings. His dedication paid off when scouts from Rotherham United and Sheffield United recognised his potential. 

Upon learning he was scouted, Karol couldn’t contain his excitement. “I was very excited and tried to be even better than I was then,” he shared. His determination to improve only grew stronger as he prepared for his next steps.  Karol’s first experience at the trial with his new club was memorable. Reflecting on it, he said, “I got in a good team. All the players there are nice. My first training was something different, and I felt good.” The positive environment at the academy motivated him further, allowing him to adapt and thrive alongside talented teammates. 

Through the trials and his ongoing training, Karol has gained invaluable insights into the game. “I learned better touches and better decision-making,” he explained. These improvements reflect his commitment to personal growth and his eagerness to refine his skills. 

When asked about the level of players at UK Football Trials, Karol was quick to praise the competition. “Yes, they were very good,” he said, acknowledging the challenges he faced and the camaraderie he shared with fellow players.  Karol’s journey to UK Football Trials was driven by his ambition to play at an academy level and elevate his game. He wholeheartedly recommends the experience to others, saying, “Yes, because you get a really good opportunity to get scouted.” 

Although Karol’s trial is ongoing, his positive attitude and work ethic are already shining through. “Not yet,” he said when asked about feedback from the club, “but I hope I get in!” His optimism and drive serve as a testament to his potential.  At UK Football Trials, we are proud to have been a part of Karol’s journey.
