Pippa’s football journey began on the Isle of Man, where she quickly established herself as a standout player within the Academy and her local grassroots club. Her commitment to the sport and natural talent caught the eye of higher-level clubs across the UK, leading her to train with Chester and even receive an invitation to train with Liverpool's U16 team—a testament to her growing reputation in the sport. 

When Pippa attended a UK Football Trials event, she wanted to assess her current level of play against a broader and more competitive field. The trial experience provided her with valuable insights, helping her gauge where she stood among her peers. "I learned at what level I was playing at," Pippa shared, recognising the importance of understanding her strengths and areas for improvement. The event featured a mix of talent, with many players demonstrating high skill levels, reaffirming Pippa’s confidence in her own abilities. 

Following the trial, Pippa was scouted by 2 clubs, but after careful consideration, she chose to continue with her current path at a higher-level club where she was already making significant progress. The opportunity to stay in an environment that challenged her and supported her development was the right choice for Pippa at this stage of her career. Pippa stated that coming to the UK later in her career will definitely happen and that UK Football Trials gave her a fantastic opportunity to see what level she was at.  

Pippa’s decision to attend UK Football Trials was driven by a desire to test her skills and see how she compared to other aspiring players on the mainland. "Living on the Isle of Man, I wanted to know what level I was at," she explained. The trial provided her with the clarity and confidence she sought, confirming that she was on the right track. 

When asked if she would recommend UK Football Trials to other players, Pippa's response was affirmative: "Yes, I would, and the reason is because you can get great opportunities from them and fantastic feedback from top coaches." Her experience underscores the value of such trials in opening doors and offering players a platform to showcase their talents.
