Cristian Beltrán Morales (Age 10) – Colombian Talent Scouted by Stevenage and Millwall FC 

At just 10 years old, Cristian Daniel Beltrán Morales is already making waves in English football. A dynamic right winger and midfielder, Cristian was scouted by both Stevenage FC and Millwall FC after showcasing his impressive skillset at a UK Football Trials event. Originally from Colombia, Cristian has brought his flair, determination, and passion for football to the UK — and it hasn’t taken long for clubs to take notice. 

Cristian’s journey in football began at a young age in Colombia, where he played in both local and national leagues, gaining early experience in competitive environments. Since moving to the UK, he has remained fully committed to the game, playing for local clubs and already becoming a champion in several competitions. 

“I come from Colombia, and I have played in local and national leagues,” Cristian explained. “Now that I’m here in the UK, I’ve continued playing in local clubs and have been champion with some of them.” 

His performance at UK Football Trials caught the eye of multiple scouts — and the impact was immediate. 

“It was really exciting for me and my family,” Cristian said. “We know this is an opportunity I must take and enjoy.” 

Within just a week of the trial, Stevenage FC contacted Cristian and invited him to a two-week trial at their academy. Cristian is currently beginning this exciting new stage in his football journey and is focused on making the most of it. 

“Stevenage told me I have a chance in their academy and that they want to see me more closely,” he shared. “Now I have to show them why they saw something in me.” 

As for Millwall FC, the scout is looking to monitor Cristian in the future, however they are still waiting for a response back confirming.

Reflecting on his experience at UK Football Trials, Cristian noted just how valuable the day was — not just for getting scouted, but for understanding the unique demands of English football. 

“I learnt how important reaction and vision is in UK football. There’s a lot of intensity. I realised that during pressure, you must make good decisions.” 

One moment stood out in particular — when a scout came over, asked where he lived, and what position he played. 

“That was my best moment,” Cristian said. “It gave me so much confidence. After that, I performed even better.” 

Cristian’s motivation to attend UK Football Trials was clear. As a young player from abroad, he wanted to find a credible and fair opportunity to showcase his ability — and he found exactly that. 

“They are very famous and real. As a foreigner, opportunities are more limited, but UK Football Trials was the right choice.” 

Cristian would highly recommend the experience to other players, particularly those who may feel overlooked or uncertain about how to be seen by professional clubs. 

“Being surrounded by professionals makes you feel like a professional. There are real scouts watching and waiting for a good player. If someone is looking for an opportunity — this is the right one.” 

Cristian Daniel Beltrán Morales is already proving that talent knows no borders. With a trial underway at Stevenage FC and Millwall potentially on the horizon, this young Colombian is showing maturity, focus, and the spark that makes him one to watch for the future.
