Daniel Jebbison – 21 - UPDATE - Goal against Manchester City

Daniel’s journey from a UK Football Trials hopeful to Premier League standout is nothing short of remarkable. After being scouted at the April 2018 Birmingham trial, he earned a pro contract with Sheffield United, famously becoming the youngest player ever to score on his Premier League debut — striking just seven minutes into his first start at 17 years and 309 days.

Fast forward to May 20, 2025 — Daniel delivered another unforgettable moment. Brought on in stoppage time at the Etihad, he expertly converted a close-range chance to score Bournemouth’s sole goal in a thrilling 3–1 defeat to Manchester City. It was a powerful reminder of his instinct and composure on the biggest stage  . The goal got plenty of attention, featured in match highlights and praised as “the consolation goal that denied City’s clean sheet”  .

Most recently, Daniel secured a season-long loan move to Preston North End in the Championship, announced June 21, 2025, officially starting from July 7  . This move reunites him with former manager Paul Heckingbottom, who coached him at Sheffield United and expressed confidence in Daniel’s potential  .
