Following the instructions given in the scouted email, they were told to expect communication within three weeks — and that timeline proved accurate. “It took about 3 weeks to hear from the club just as instructed on the scouted letter from UK Football Trials,” they explained. Now, Ivan is awaiting his official trial with Chelsea, and the family remain extremely positive. “Yes, waiting for trials etc. Feedback was very positive on the first call,” they said. This early encouragement has added even more excitement as he prepares for what could be a life-changing opportunity.
