Daniel – Goalkeeper | Now with Jamaica U20 National Team 

Daniel’s football journey is a great example of how the right opportunities, combined with commitment and belief, can open doors at the highest levels of the game. 

Daniel first attended UK Football Trials camps, where he had the chance to showcase his ability in front of coaches and scouts while gaining valuable experience in a competitive environment. From the beginning, Daniel stood out as a goalkeeper with strong fundamentals, confidence, and the determination to keep improving. 

Following his performances at camp, UK Football Trials helped place Daniel into a football academy environment, giving him the opportunity to continue developing his game within a structured programme. The move provided him with consistent high-level training, exposure to experienced coaches, and the chance to compete alongside other ambitious young players. 

Since then, Daniel has continued to build on that foundation, progressing steadily both technically and mentally as a goalkeeper. His work ethic and dedication have played a key role in his development, allowing him to push himself towards higher levels of the game. 

Now, Daniel has reached an exciting milestone in his career. 

He is currently training with the Jamaica Under-20 national team (the Reggae Boyz U20s) as they prepare for upcoming World Cup qualifying matches next month. Being involved in a national team setup is a significant achievement and a testament to the progress he has made since attending UK Football Trials. 

Daniel is presently in camp with the squad as they continue preparations, gaining valuable experience training at international level and working alongside players competing for places in the upcoming qualifiers. 

Speaking through his father Robert, who has supported and guided Daniel throughout his football journey, it is clear how proud the family are of the progress he has made. Daniel’s commitment to his development and willingness to embrace new challenges have helped him reach this stage, and the experience of being involved with the Jamaica U20 national team is another important step forward. 

As he continues his journey, Daniel remains focused on improving, learning, and making the most of every opportunity that comes his way.
