Cache – 13 Years Old – Midfielder (CM/CAM) | Scouted by Brentford 

At just 13 years old, Cache is showing the level of commitment and ambition required to pursue football at a high level. After attending UK Football Trials in West London, he caught the attention of Brentford, marking another important step in his journey. 

Cache’s pathway has already involved significant sacrifice. 

Originally based in Devon, he was part of a professional academy setup from the age of eight, developing his game in a structured and competitive environment. However, in pursuit of greater opportunities, he made a big decision. 

“Cache moved from Devon to Milton Keynes six months ago to give him more opportunities to continue his football journey,” his father explained. 

That move reflects both his dedication and the support around him — putting himself in a better position to be seen, challenged, and developed further. 

Attending UK Football Trials was another key step in that process. The event provided him with the chance to perform in front of scouts while experiencing a higher standard of football. 

“The professionalism was excellent and the standard was so high. The coaching was incredible,” he said. 

During the sessions, Cache demonstrated his ability in midfield, showing composure on the ball, awareness, and a willingness to influence the game both offensively and defensively. His performances were recognised, with Brentford showing interest following the event. 

One of the biggest takeaways from the experience was the confidence it gave him. 

“Being given the confidence to show what I can do and give to a team,” he said. 

That confidence is crucial, especially in trial environments where players must perform under pressure while staying true to their natural game. 

Cache attended UK Football Trials with a clear intention: 

“Giving the chance to play in front of scouts and show them the best version of myself.” 

That objective has been achieved, with interest now established and the next opportunity potentially on the horizon. 

While he is still awaiting further contact from Brentford, his mindset remains strong. 

“Still waiting for contact, but it shows never to give up on your dream.” 

That perspective reflects maturity and understanding — recognising that football pathways can take time, and patience is often required alongside hard work. 

When asked if he would recommend UK Football Trials to others, his answer was clear:
