After performing at the trial in front of attending scouts, George has now progressed into a full academy trial with Stevenage FC, a League One club — marking a significant opportunity at a professional level.
The update comes directly from Stevenage scout Ross Adkin, who confirmed:
“Just to update you on George Francis, who came to the Cray Wanderers trial on the 1st of April 2026, he has progressed to a full academy trial with us.”
