From Sunderland AFC to Hebburn Town Loan Move 

Isaac Allan’s journey continues to build real momentum, with another important step forward in his development as a young professional goalkeeper. 

After progressing from UK Football Trials to a scholarship with Lincoln City, and then earning a professional contract with Sunderland AFC, Isaac has continued to rise through the ranks. Now part of Sunderland’s setup, his development has been carefully managed to give him the best possible pathway into senior football. 

As part of that progression, Isaac has already gained valuable experience out on loan this season, with spells at Morpeth Town and Whitby Town, where he faced the demands of men’s football and continued to develop his game under real match pressure. 

Now, he has taken another step. 

Isaac has officially joined Hebburn Town on loan until the end of the season, continuing his exposure to senior football and further strengthening his experience at this level. 

Hebburn Town have been monitoring his progress closely, having already seen him play against them twice earlier in the season. Their decision to bring him in reflects the impression he has made. 

On the signing, Goalkeeper Coach Carl Morris said: 

“We are delighted to welcome Isaac to the club. We have been keeping an eye on his progress over the last year and after playing against us twice already this season, we have been impressed on both occasions.” 

Isaac is widely recognised for his composure, shot-stopping ability, and calm presence, qualities that have been consistent throughout his journey — from his early days after attending UK Football Trials, right through to his current position within a professional club system. 

This latest loan move is another key step in his development. For young goalkeepers, gaining regular minutes in senior football is essential, helping them adapt to the physicality, tempo, and pressure of the adult game.
