Mir Zana – 11 Years Old – Winger/Full Back | Scouted by Luton Town, Oxford United, Woking & Oxford City 

At 11 years old, Mir Zana is already gaining recognition from multiple clubs, showing clear potential as a versatile player capable of operating on both wings and at right-back. 

Currently playing for Top Ballers, Mir Zana has been developing in a competitive environment and continues to build his game through regular training and match experience. His ability, confidence on the ball, and attacking intent have helped him stand out — not only at club level, but also in trial environments. 

He attended a UK Football Trials event in Uxbridge, where he had the opportunity to showcase his ability in front of scouts from a range of professional and non-league clubs. 

During the trial, Mir Zana impressed across both training and match play. 

“1-to-1 sessions, the match, and scoring in the game — I felt confident and like a professional footballer,” he said. 

His performances led to interest from several clubs, including Luton Town, Oxford United, Woking FC, and Oxford City, all of whom requested further information following the event. 

“We sent his details to all of them,” his father explained. 

Since then, the process has continued, although at different stages depending on the club. Some have remained in contact, while others are still monitoring his progress. 

Oxford United highlighted logistical challenges due to distance, while Luton Town have shown continued interest and have been looking to watch him play in matches. However, scheduling difficulties have made this challenging, with games not always aligning. 

Despite this, Mir Zana remains on the radar and awaiting a trial opportunity, particularly with Luton Town. 

The experience at UK Football Trials has still been an important step in his journey. 

“It is a good opportunity,” his father said, highlighting the value of being seen and gaining exposure to different levels of football. 

For Mir Zana, the biggest takeaway has been the confidence gained from performing in a professional-style environment and proving to himself that he can compete at a higher level. 

His journey so far also reflects an important reality of football at this age — that opportunities don’t always come immediately, and patience is often required alongside performance. 

When asked about recommending UK Football Trials, the response was balanced: 

“Yes — it is a good opportunity.” 

From grassroots football… 
to being scouted by multiple clubs… 
to now waiting for the next opportunity to step into a trial environment — 

Mir Zana’s journey is still developing. 

At just 11 years old, with clear ability and growing confidence, he is continuing to put himself in the right positions. With ongoing interest from clubs and continued exposure, the next opportunity may simply be a matter of timing.
