Paul – 11 Years Old – Attacker | Scouted by Brentford FC 

At just 11 years old, Paul is beginning to take important steps in his football journey, earning recognition from Brentford FC after impressing at UK Football Trials. 

Paul has been playing football since the age of six and has spent the past three seasons consistently training and competing with his local team. During this time, he has focused on improving his performance, teamwork, and overall consistency — key foundations for any young attacking player. 

Looking to push himself further and gain exposure at a higher level, Paul attended a UK Football Trials event in West London, where he had the opportunity to perform in front of professional scouts. 

The experience proved to be a valuable one. 

“The scout contacted us,” his mother explained, confirming that Paul’s performances had caught attention on the day. 

He is now awaiting confirmation on the next steps, with Brentford showing interest and monitoring his progress. 

Beyond being scouted, the trial also helped Paul develop his mindset. 

“He learned the importance of preparation, consistency, and staying ready to perform when opportunities arise.” 

For young players, these lessons are just as important as technical development — especially in environments where opportunities must be taken when they come. 

One of the standout moments for Paul came simply from being recognised. 

“The best moment was being watched by scouts during the game and training,” his mother said. “It gave him motivation and confidence to perform at the highest level.” 

That confidence is often what allows players to take the next step. 

Paul attended UK Football Trials with a clear goal: 

“To be seen by scouts, challenge myself against better players, and take the next step in my football journey.” 

That objective has been achieved, with a professional club now aware of his ability. 

While no formal feedback has been received yet, the focus remains positive. 

“We remain positive and continue working hard while waiting for the next steps.” 

When asked if they would recommend UK Football Trials, the response was simple: 

“Yes — a great opportunity.” 

From grassroots football… 
to stepping into a trial environment… 
to now being scouted by Brentford FC — 

Paul’s journey is moving in the right direction.
