Taehoo – 14 Years Old – Midfielder | Scouted by Brentford FC 

At 14 years old, Taehoo is already pushing himself to compete at a higher level, travelling to England to attend UK Football Trials and earning interest from Brentford FC following his performances. 

Taehoo attended the Easter Holiday Five-Day Trial Camp in April, where he had the opportunity to train and compete against players from different countries and football backgrounds in front of professional scouts. 

Currently representing Royal Russell School, Taehoo came to the UK with a clear ambition: 

“I want to become a professional footballer and test myself in a more competitive environment.” 

The experience immediately showed him the demands required to compete at a higher level. 

“I learned a lot about the level and intensity required to compete in the UK,” he explained. “The speed of play, decision-making, and physicality were all higher than what I was used to.” 

Rather than being intimidated by that challenge, Taehoo embraced it. 

“It helped me understand the importance of staying composed under pressure and making quick decisions. Overall, it motivated me to improve and push myself to reach that level.” 

Throughout the camp, Taehoo continued to grow in confidence, with one moment standing out above all others. 

“My best moment was scoring a goal in the third trial. It was a great feeling and gave me confidence, especially in a competitive environment.” 

That performance helped attract the attention of Brentford FC, with the club now showing interest following the event. 

“I’ve heard that Brentford are interested, and I am currently waiting to hear from them.” 

While he awaits further updates, the experience has already provided valuable exposure and insight into the level required within professional football environments. 

Taehoo believes UK Football Trials offers players a genuine opportunity to test themselves properly.
