Mahmoud Mandour - Aged 18 - Trial With Newcastle Town FC
Mahmoud was spotted at our Manchester football trial in February, after displaying great vision, passing, aggression and athleticism in the full sided game. He has since been on trial with semi pro side Newcastle Town FC. Mahmoud has previously had a trial with pro teams in his home country, Egypt.
Mahmoud says he spends a lot time in the gym working on improving his strength, a crucial trait for a central midfielder in England. Endurance training is another important part of Mahmoud's routine, as well as training twice a week with his local side Oakhouse FC.
On his UKFT trial he said, "My football trial was great, very professional, well structured and they have a dedicated team. The coaches put extra hours in outside of the trial making sure I was able to get to my chance."
