Ramone Blackett - Aged 21 - Trial With Barnsley FC
Ramone Blackett, brother of Manchester United defender Tyler, has been invited to pre season with Barnsley, where he will train with the first team and the u21’s. He was scouted at our trial in Manchester earlier this year, after displaying great pace to beat a man as well as tracking back and helping out defensively.
He said "I was Man United for 8 years until the age of 14, and I‘ve since had spells at Wigan and then at Blackpool, where I made one first team appearance. I was released in May and I’ve been waiting for an opportuntity to come along – UK Football Trials gave me that opportunity."
