Jonni Turner, Aged 17, Trial with Millwall
Great news for a talented 17 year old from Scotland who attended two trials in the same week travelling a long and making a great effort to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
Jonni who is an accomplished left footed central attacking midfielder, already has a a quality CV with experience at Hibernian and Hearts in Scotland. Scouted at the West London Trial, Jonni has been in for his trial period and describes his experience with the club and UK Football Trials: "My experience at Millwall was beneficial in being able to learn different drills and training techniques that I had not previously done so in my other clubs and experiencing football at an English club.
The experience has taught me to stay focused and driven to achieve my goal as a professional football player. Having attended the UK Football Trials event I thought it was a good opportunity for me to gain exposure with English football clubs. Also meeting players not only from all over UK but Spain, France and Holland was a great experience." We congratulate Jonni on a great trial!
