Christopher Haigh, Aged 15, Trial At Gillingham And Call Up For Norway National Team
One of our best success stories that includes a contract and an international call up! UK Football trials are delighted that goal keeper trial player Christopher Haigh has signed a contract with pro club Gillingham FC.
Christopher was scouted by UK Football Trials head of player placement Tony Awor in our April & May trials in Birmingham, Leeds and London after showing some great talent, a good attitude and work ethic. Tony organised for Christopher to travel with Pro Club Wigan for a 2 week trial on tour in Denmark this summer which was a great experience. Since returning earlier in the month the talented player has now signed for the League 1 club when offered the opportunity! Christopher also qualifies to play for Norway and has been selected to represent the NATIONAL TEAM in September which is an incredible achievement! Many congratulations to Christopher and we wish him every success this season - we will keep you posted on his progress.
