February Trials - Record Number Of Players Scouted In A Single Week
WHAT A WEEK! UK Football Trials have completed 5 consecutive days of football trials in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Essex and West London, with players from 26 countries attending and record number of scouts watching.
UK Football trials Co-Director and FA Registered Intermediary Jim Price said "We have already had requests for more than 50 players details from last week which is incredible. There were high numbers of scouts at our events last week and some of them chose to come to attend our football trials rather than the official pro club exit trials which were also running. I think this illustrates the quality of player we have attending and we will now be looking to sign some of these players to our newly created football agency."
Co- Director Harry Price who ran the operations said "We really enjoyed the week - players and parents put up with some cold and wet weather yet remained upbeat with so much enthusiasm. This has reflected in the number of players selected on the football trials last week. When we started 5 years ago people in the industry said we would be lucky to find a few players a year - so to find more than 50 in a week is staggering! Well done and thank you to all players and parents who will be contacted on Friday by 8pm this week."
