Manchester City Opportunity For Two Players & Tour Of The Amazing Sports City Complex
The UK Football Trials team have been in Manchester supporting two players scouted from our football trials in February. The players Takuki and Aldo, both 15, joined the shadow squad U16 group and had their opportunity to impress at Manchester City's incredible £200m training ground last night. The pair were two of 51 players picked up from our football trials in the February half-term and have been given the chance to impress with one of the biggest clubs in England just weeks after attending. Harry Price, Director of UK Football Trials pictured here with Takuki and Aldo, said: "It's been a fantastic couple of days for us to see our players perform at such a high level at Manchester City. We have 5 of our team here to support the players, their parents and guardian and the players have done very very well, with great feedback from the club. I think it just goes to show that at all of our trials, every player is just one performance away from getting a chance even at the highest level. Takuki and Aldo came to our trials, showed excellent ability and had great attitudes and tonight had their chance to impress at this incredible facility, enjoying and learning from the experience regardless of the final decision from the club. The lads couldn't have done any more and should be proud of their performance and we are committed to supporting them on their football journey." Updates on Takuki and Aldo's progress will be posted in the coming weeks, but what an amazing achievement by them both!
