Elms Recalled For Second Trial At Barnsley
Head of Recruitment Chris England said: "We were impressed with what we saw from Bradley in his first session with us and there's an opening in February to get him back in and have another look. There is no concrete decision either way yet, but it's great that we'll be able to see him again next year." Bradley initially impressed Chris back in August when he attended a trial at Manchester's Stockport Sports Village - his initial trial with Barnsley didn't come until a few weeks after the UK Football Trial. When we caught up with his Dad after the first trial, he said: "Bradley's recently had a trial with his district side and he made the team so he’s delighted with that. It’s been a huge couple of months for him, everything just seems to be going right with his football. He’s over the moon with the interest from Barnsley. He loves football and just enjoys playing the game, he plays as much as he can - if anything I’m trying to get him to slow down so he doesn’t do too much!" He’s controlled, calm on the ball, a great header and he has such a good reading of the game. You can slot him in anywhere and he’ll do well just because he understands the game so well. "Going back to his trial in August, he loved it. The talks from Harry and the team and he just generally enjoyed himself. From a parent’s point of view it was great, there was no pressure on the players, they were just encouraged to do their best and the feedback the kids received was brilliant."
