Forward Tyreke Prempeh-White has had his details requested by Reading Football Club after a scout saw him at our West London event at the beginning of June.

Tyreke, who trialled with the club at 11-years-old and also spent a year with Fulham FC before that, is currently a free agent after leaving Tooting & Mitcham United's youth setup at the end of last season.

The 6ft 1' striker, who can also operate on either flank, displayed excellent pace and power at his UK Football Trial and caught the eye of three clubs with a report also being compiled for a current Champions League club.

"The trial was very good, it was a great experience." said Tyreke, "I was just hoping I would get seen by a club because it's hard for that to happen at Sunday league level.

"I knew that the scouts would be there and I just tried to play my game as normal really and be myself."

Given his age, Tyreke was initially playing in the younger age group at the trial. But once scouts had seen his physical attributes they requested for him to be given the opportunity to play with the older players to see how he coped - an opportunity he feels he made the most of.

"It was good to play in the game at the end with older players," Tyreke said, "It was a good opportunity to play with them and show that I could handle myself with older boys and I think that helped in me getting scouted."

Tyreke also spoke of his anticipation to return to the club where he had a trial three years ago, and hopefully join up with his cousin who currently plays for the academy at Reading.

He said: "I'm very excited to go back and I'm happy to have another chance to impress. I hope I can impress the coaches and then I just have to see what they think.

"I've been there before and I know the environment which should help me, it's a great club."
