The UK Football Trials team are currently on the other side of the world searching for talent, holding our annual event in Australia.

Harry Price, Director, has travelled out to Melbourne this week along with an incredible team of coaches, scouts and industry experts to help give players from Australia the chance to train like a pro and even play in the UK.

Our first trip to Australia with SOAR Footbball Academy last summer, resulted in a player being invited back to England to train with Championship side Fulham, after impressing the scouts in our team - he went on to play and score in a match against Tottenham during his visit and Fulham are continuing to monitor his situation even now.

Joining Harry on the trip is Robin van der Laan, former Derby County Captain and International Head Coach of Manchester United - Mark Grew, former West Brom Goalkeeper and Port Vale Assistant Manager - Micky Adams, former Leicester City and Sheffield United Manager - Anthony Williams, former Portsmouth and Crawley Town Assistant Manager - and George Hardwick, world renowned speaker and author who will be working with the players in the field of sports psychology.

Speaking about the event, Harry said: "It's amazing for us to be able to take our brand to the other side of the world and give the players over there the same opportunity that we can give players in the UK.

"We feel this will be a massive chance for these players to work with such a great team, packed with world-class individuals - they'll be able to learn so much and hopefully improve over the few days they'll spend with us."

Harry added: "Every single one of the players will be watched by a former Premier League Manager who has contacts all across the UK at several different levels, so if anyone is good enough, we won't miss them."

The team will be working with SOAR Football Academy for the next few days, before returning home next week and beginning preperations for the February trials in the UK.
