110 Players Scouted from February Trials
The UK Football Trials team have returned to the office today following two weeks touring the country in a search for it’s best undiscovered players.
An incredible 110 players have been scouted in this time - with a further 14 pending – a record for our February trials.
Scouts attended our events in West London, Essex, South London, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff to watch almost 700 players, aged between 10-28, and in some cases players have already been in on trial.
In the coming weeks we will be bringing you updates on the outcomes of the 110 scouted players, including some trials that have already been arranged with clubs such as West Ham, Sheffield Wednesday and Cheltenham Town.
UK Football Trials Director, Harry Price, said: “We’re thrilled with the results of this February trial set.
“We’ve seen almost 700 players across 8 days and managed to get to several parts of the UK, giving players from all over the opportunity to play in front of scouts.
“I think you can see with the high level of players scouted that if you’re good enough, you will be seen.”
Harry added: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the 40 clubs, scouts and our coaches who gave up their time to help give these players this fantastic opportunity.
“But also we would like to thank the hundreds of players and parents who helped make the trials a great experience for everyone involved.”
We have tried to contact every player who attended the trial today (Feb 24th) but if anyone is yet to receive a decision from us, please email the team on info@ukfootballtrials.com or text us on 07791588891.
Our next open football trials are in April and are on the website now, with our 5 day camp also taking place the week before from April 2nd to 7th.
