Goore Trials with Crawley Town & AFC Wimbledon

16-year-old Goore Jaurest has been training with Crawley Town and AFC Wimbledon after he was scouted at our trial in July.

Goore, who was born and raised in Spain, moved to England this summer in the hope of pursuing his goal to become a professional footballer.

Currently living with his Grandmother in London, Goore booked a place at our West London event in July and is now seemingly one step closer to his dream, after he was invited for a trial with two pro clubs.

AFC Wimbledon of League Two, and Crawley Town of League One, were both keen to take a look at Goore, who can operate comfortably on either flank, following recommendation from scout at our event.

Within weeks, Goore had his first taste of life at a pro club and it’s something he’s hoping to experience again soon, according to his Grandmother, Lou.

She said: “He was training for a couple of days with Crawley Town which was great, and then Wimbledon invited him to train with the u17’s for a whole week, so that was a brilliant experience for him.

“Goore really enjoyed himself and it was the first time he’s done anything like this – in Spain he didn’t have a pro club so he’s made good progress since coming to England.”

She added: “Unfortunately he got injured when he was training with Wimbledon so he’s been out for a couple of weeks, but hopefully he’ll be fit soon and he can get back in the system, a few clubs have made contact recently.”

Goore will now continue his recovery from injury before taking up offers from other clubs to train with their squads.

We wish him good luck with his football and will bring updates on his career as we get them.
