81 Players Scouted from August Events - All Players Now Contacted
Every single player who attended our 5 Day Camp and our 1 Day Trials last month has now been contacted by our office team.
Having spent the last two weeks of August in Sussex, London, Birmingham and Manchester in the search of players who might have slipped through the net, we returned home with great results.
18 players were scouted from the 5 Day Training and Trials Camp at Ardingly College, after they spent a week working with top professionals in different areas such as conditioning, speed and agility, sports psychology, nutrition and of course coaching, to prepare for their trial in front of club scouts.
The following week, trials at QPR’s Training Ground, Hyde United and Tamworth saw another 63 players scouted by pro and semi pro clubs.
Ashleigh Hopkins, who coached at the camp and at each of the 1 day trials, said: “It was a brilliant couple of weeks working with UK Football Trials.
“I worked on the last camp in April and this time we had three times as many players which made for an even bigger and better experience and I think all the players thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
He added: “I saw a big improvement in the players from the start to the end of the camp, and the standard we saw in the one day trials was great as well, which you can see by the number of players who are being scouted.”
We have been busy this week giving decisions to the players who attended our camp and trials, and we have now attempted to contact every single player we saw in August and September – either by email or phone.
