Brothers Armand and Arber Grosha are currently training with Wolverhampton Wanderers following a successful trial at our trial back in July last year.

Initially after the event, Armand, who is the eldest brother and plays outfield, was invited to train with Colchester United's elite development squad.

His mum, Miranda, said of the experience: “Armand attended training at Colchester every Monday night for the development squad after going through UK Football Trials.

“He has loved learning about how to play disciplined football and play one and two touch. He learnt how important supportive play is.”

Unfortunately, after several months training with the development squad it was decided that Armand would no longer continue training at Colchester due to the distance from the family home, and instead Armand and his younger brother Arber, who plays in goal, took up the offer of a trial from Wolves.

Miranda added: “The development squad played the Academy team and we won 2-1! Armand even scored a header in the game!”

Despite Wolverhampton still being a fair distance for the brothers to travel, the club have a much closer Elite centre where they can train and stay under the watchful eye of the club.

When asked about our trials, Miranda told us, “Armand thought the UK Football Trial was a very good way to showcase what he could do to a lot of scouts.”
