Rayhaan Trials for Two Clubs with European Football
Rayhaan attended our trial in Manchester in February, 2018. After some fantastic performances, Rayhaan was approached by no less than five club scouts!
Since the trial, Rayhaan, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has had trials with several clubs including high-flyers Burnley, who look set to secure Europa League football for the first time next season.
His big brother, Kamran, told UK Football Trials, "It was a great experience for Rayhaan to be invited to train and play at Burnley’s Academy.
“It’s been a big couple of months since the UK Football Trial with opportunities at different clubs but he’s enjoyed training at all of them and is looking forward to getting a final decision about where his future will lie.”
Marc Jaycocks, who spotted Rayhaan at our Manchester event and arranged a trial with another Premier League club, said, “He was extremely gifted technically and he took to the coaching sessions very well.
“Rayhaan influenced the sessions as well as the game and has shown great quality when not in possession of the ball and has shown a high level of intelligence on the ball.
“I believe that he has the qualities needed to play academy football.”
As always, we love to get feedback from our players who attend trials so we asked Kamran what Rayhaan thought of the Manchester trial.
"He really enjoyed the trial and found the way it was set up was perfect. He said he would have liked to go to both sessions on the day because of how much he enjoyed it!
Kamran added: “It has definitely helped us as we were contacted by five clubs and within a week Rayhaan was training at another Premier League club.
