15-year-old Noor Mbaza was scouted at our trial in West London and has since gone on to train with West Ham.

Noor, who plays on the wing, spent four weeks training with a talent ID centre after an impressive performance at QPR Training’s Ground during our October trial set.

Speaking to UK Football Trials in May, Noor explained: “About a week after my trial event in October, I got a call from UK Football Trials who told me I was scouted and then West Ham emailed me to invite me down to a talent ID centre.

“It’s a good, welcoming club. They like to know you personally, how you’re doing, what your strengths are and what you need to work on.

“I trained at the club’s old training ground for about a month and it was all really high intensity work, but they’re doing some rebuilding work now so everything is on hold for a while – in the meantime I’m training with my local team.”

The likes of Fulham and Crystal Palace had reportedly expressed an interest in the young winger in recent years, but Noor’s recent spell at West Ham represents his first concrete opportunity at a pro club.

We also saw Noor for the first time at our trial in October last year, which he claims helped him identify areas to improve his game.

“At UK Football Trials, they like to see what players are good at and what they need to work on,” said Noor.

He added: “It helped me identify my weaknesses and gave the scouts an opportunity to see us play in training and a game as well.”

Noor is expected to return to training at West Ham’s talent ID centre when work on training ground is complete later in the year.
