UK Football Trials Land in New York
UK Football Trials have landed in the USA and completed a successful first day of trials at our soccer camp.
For the first time we have come to New York and are giving players from America the chance to impress scouts from around the world.
Clubs represented at our 'soccer' trials include some of the biggest names in the Premier League, as well as MLS sides looking for local, undiscovered talent.
The trials are being held at New Rochelle Football Club and coach Kamel Ayari has played a big part in helping to arrange the camp.
UK Football Trials Director Harry Price is part of the team to travel to New York and gave hsi thoughts on the experience so far.
"It's been a great first day for everyone here," Harry said.
"We've brought over a great team and are delighted to be able to give this opportunity to players in America that wouldn't have had this kind of platform before.
"The facilities are fantastic and we hope to be able to give some of these players the chance to make it as a professional."
