[17/09/2018]  Callum Black scored while on trial with Premier League new boys Wolves, after impressing at our event earlier this summer.

The 14-year-old, who can play behind the striker or as a centre-back, was scouted in June when he attended our event in West London.

Shortly after, Callum, who also had a trial with Liverpool two years ago, was invited to Wolves’ academy to play in a trial game.

“We were invited to the academy so that Callum could play against the u14’s,” explained his dad, Fraser.

“But we got there a bit early so he was actually able to train with the u14’s before the game which was great.”

Fraser continued: “Callum played in defence in the first half and then second half he moved to central attacking midfield and scored quite early on – they won 3-0.

“The facilities are fantastic, the players were playing on the same site as the first team so that’s great for the boys.”

Callum was his team’s top scorer last season playing from midfield, and also had the chance to play against Villareal in front of several hundred spectators in a tournament in Spain.

Wolves have informed Callum and his dad that they will continue to monitor him throughout the season.
