An avid Arsenal fan, Liam currently plays for Staines Town u16’s and has been there his whole life. He won the Golden Boot last season and his pace up front has led to him being nicknamed “speedy” by his teammates. Liam got the call from Farnborough almost straight after his UK Football Trial and went in for two days training with Farnborough. Speaking about his trial with Farnborough, he said: "We trained on the Thursday and on Friday it was more of a training match against each other - now I'm just waiting to hear back. Liam also reflected on his UK Football Trial and the opportunities it gave him: "I really liked my trial experience with UK Football Trials – the coaches were great with and it was good to be watched by professional scouts, you don’t get an opportunity like that everyday and it's a great platform. "I’d recommend UK Football Trials to anyone, it’s a brilliant opportunity. The players that attend are a good level and there are a lot of scouts watching so it’s a good chance to actually impress someone and be picked up. If nothing concrete happened with Farnborough then I'd like to come back, definitely."
