Arsenal & Fulham Trial For Bermudan Wonderkid
Congratulations to 12 year old star Kilae Crockwell on a superb football trial with us in the summer! Kilae who showed incredible power, pace, technical skills in the trials shone right from the start. He showed himself to be a very coachable player, with a great attitude, listening carefully to the UK Football Trials Head Coach Kevin Kent throughout the sessions and progressed to a level that caught the eye of the whole UK Football Trials team.
He flew to the UK and had a good trial with Fulham and then went onto Arsenal where he excelled, impressing the club so much that they have invited him to come back to the club for further training! For all our players - Kilae is an inspiration, just have a read of his training schedule he has stuck to for the last three years: "4 days a week for 2 hours before school, 3 days with a club, 2 hours everyday after school, 2 times a week with his school, and regularly I work on my strength, speed endurance, fitness." When asked how he found his trial with the clubs he said "It was amazing! The opportunities were exciting and incredibly rewarding. I learned that my commitment to football will pay off as long as I continue to stay focused and challenge myself. My rigorous training and passion for the game translated to a very successful trial experience."
