UKFT Returning to Melbourne in January 2019
UK Football Trials Australia - part of UK Football Trials, the world’s largest football trials company will be returning to Melbourne Australia in January 2019 giving players the chance to get scouted. The two, three day events are from the 11th to 13th and a second option ofthe 15th to 17th January 2019, with the event already half full!
Our team made up of world-class coaches and a Premier League scout will be holding the football trials at Sunbury United Football Club, for male and female players aged 10-28 years old.
This will be the fourth time we have visited Australia in search of talent and our previous trials have been a huge success, with several players currently in England either full-time or on trial as a direct result of our past events.
Director Harry Price spoke of his excitement at the prospect of returning to Melbourne: “We are delighted to be coming back to Melbourne. The standard of players is excellent and we are looking to assess all the players, give them an honest opinion about their level, taking some world class coaches and a former Premier League Manager.
We are honest about the rulings of player requirements to play here in the UK and will also be educating players and parents about this, answering any more questions they have. We are also taking a superb sports psychologist who will help players master the "inner game" between sessions and have a education specialist to discuss options for those looking to move to the UK, who are considering a football school or university option and learn more about how football here works.
It was nice to get incredible feedback from players and parents, all visible on our Facebook page. Our main goal is to add as muich value as we can when we are there for the two, three day events we are running. All the team will be on hand to speak to all parents and players and we are delighted to have provided trial opportunities for ten Australian players. We can't wait to return to the fantastic country, facility at Sunbury and meet all the players and parents to help them progress with their football, learn lots, enjoy it and scout those at the required level, subject to passport and visa eligibilty."
The team coming to Melbourne will include UEFA A License coach Ashleigh Hopkins, former Portsmouth Assistant Manager Anthony Williams, Sheffield United Head of Academy Recruitment Ash Foyle as well as former Leicester City Manager and Prmeier League player Micky Adams, who will be working as a scout on behalf of several clubs in the UK. Jimmy Davis and Harry Price will be working on the sports psychology side of the game too.
