Vagnol Kediambiko, 20, attended two trials in 2015 and it was the second time around he was scouted by Newcastle Town FC.

He attended a training session and played 45 minutes in a trial match for the semi pro side. Vagnol has previously trialed for Stevenage and trained with a Barnet FC development squad. "I’m not at a club at the moment so I’m having to keep myself fit, training every day alone," he said, "Monday’s and Wednesday’s I do fitness, interval training etc, Tuesday’s is agility work and Thursday's is ball work. On the weekend’s I usually play games with friends for match practice."

Vagnol was unsuccessful in his first UK Football Trial, and despite the disappointment, listened to the coaches comments, went away and improved, and came back for a second trial where he was able to impress. He said: "I went the first time in February and got a good assessment. The second time I came back in May I did better and that shows the marks were accurate and I used the feedback I received to improve. It was enjoyable, I had fun and the whole set up was great." I’d definitely recommend people to go along in August – if you’re looking to play in front of scouts then there’s nowhere better to go – they’ll be people there looking at you 100%."
