Hamilton Chiwara, Aged 15, Trial with Kidderminster Harriers
We are delighted to announce that Hamilton Chiwara has signed a scholarship contract with Kidderminster Harriers FC. Hamilton, 15, who plays attacking midfield, attended our Birmingham trial in February and was invited in for two sessions with the Conference Premier side.
Speaking about the news, his mother said: "He’s so happy, he’s absolutely over the moon. He went to the trial earlier in the year and they called him back in for a second session again in March. He got a letter in the post a couple of weeks ago, saying that he had been invited to sign for them at the academy for the next two years. He will be on a scholarship there, playing football and being educated at the college as well. "He appreciates so much what UK Football Trials have done for him, he owes them a lot. He gained so much confidence from the trial and wouldn’t have been signed without them." We wish Hamilton all the best with his scholarship and will continue to post updates on his progress.
