Great news today as another player secures a trial for a pro club after being scouted from our Manchester football trial. "Momo" 14 year old central/attacking midfielder who has been scouted for a trial with Accrington Stanley after attending a trial in Manchester. “Momo” possesses great technical ability and displays composure on the ball, showcasing a range of distribution. Here's more about Mo and his footall: “I train with a Premiership Development squad one day a week and with my side Bamber Bridge FC u15’s once a week too. In my spare time I do burpies and squats for half an hour a day, then ten minutes on the treadmill followed by sprints and ballwork.”

We asked Momo how he found his experience with UK Football Trials: “This is the first time I have ever done something like this. It’s made me more confident and it’s a great opportunity to play and show people what I can do. I’ve had coaching experience at a top premiership club but thought that the level of coaching at UK Football Trials was just as high. It’s a massive opportunity for me and other kids that don’t get the chance to play in front of scouts; I think there should be more trials like these around. UKFT gives people like me a massive opportunity, even if they aren’t up to the level to get scouted they still get to spend a day with top coaches and learn a lot.” We congratulate Momo and hope he inspires you to attend our next events in February!
