Media Executive Joins UK Football Trials Team
UK Football Trials are delighted to welcome their latest signing Callum James to the team.
Callum joined the team in late February and has settled in well to his new role as Media Executive, bringing years of experience in both camera operation and video editing.
A graduate of the University of South Wales, Callum achieved a 2:1 grade in BA Film and Video and he’s spent the past few years shooting documentaries, short fiction films and corporate promotional videos, which, coupled with his love of football, made him the perfect fit foe the role.
“I couldn’t be happier about joining the UK Football Trials Team,” Callum revealed.
“After doing some free lance work shooting with them in the past whilst I was attending university, I was delighted when an opportunity opened up which meant I could join the team full time.”
He added: “I am passionate about filmmaking and football, so to be able to merge the two and work for the world’s biggest and most successful football trials company is a dream come true.”
As well as video creation, Callum’s new role will see him assist with the running of social media pages, catching up with scouted players and creating their success stories.
Director Harry Price said: "We are very pleased to have someone of Callum's calibre on board and it is very exciting to think of the opportunities this now gives us and our media team.
"There are some new projects that we will be working on over the coming months and this latest appointment allows us to reach our goals even sooner, and to engage with our 260,000+ social media followers by bringing them better content than ever before."
