Jay Brockway, Aged 22, Pre Season Trial with Wealdstone FC
Great news today for UK Football Trials as 22 year old Jay Brockway becomes our next success story with pre season lined up at Semi Pro Club Wealdstone FC. Jay is an incredible athlete and one of the best we have seen in our trials - at 6 foot 5 and 14 stone he has pace and as a striker he causes a physical challenge to any defence.
Scouted from our London trial, he stood out from the start under the watchful eye of the coaches. "I was top scorer at every amateur club played for. I then played semi-pro for Haverfordwest in the Welsh League then decided to move to London to further my working career as a personal trainer. I have peaked my fitness levels and want to apply this to my football." We wanted to get an insight to his training methods - "I'm a Crossfit Level 1 trainer so my training is constantly varied, functional and high intensity - I'm looking forward to transferring this strength and speed onto the pitch." We congratulate Jay on his success and will keep you posted on his pre season performance!
